1. When was Evolution Host founded?

Evolution Host has offered industry leading hosting and DDoS protection solutions since 2013. Using their accumulated experience in the industry, the Evolution Host founders developed the best services possible when Evolution Host was founded and have continued to innovate and expand into 2026.

2. Where are your servers located?

It is important that your hosting platform delivers the lowest latencies possible for your users. We offer our service in a wide range of global locations to enable you to strategically position your infrastructure as close to your users as possible.

Our locations currently include Canada, Germany, UK, USA, Finland, Poland, France, Asia, India and Australia.

Please note that the available locations may vary per service.

3. Is there an uptime SLA?

The Evolution Host uptime SLA demonstrates our confidence in providing a reliable hosting environment. Unexpected interruptions resulting from unplanned maintenance or outages may result in a free extension to your service. The SLA levels included with each service are detailed on the corresponding product/service page.

4. How long does setup take?

All services include instant setup unless otherwise stated. This means that as soon as your payment has been received, our systems will begin to install your services. You will receive an email immediately after the process completes.

5. What is your average support response time?

The response time for emails to [email protected] is industry leading at an average of 10 minutes. We know how important it is to our clients that assistance is provided in a timely manner when required.

6. Do you offer DDoS protected services?

Evolution Host offer unbeatable DDoS protection which results in otherwise unachievable levels of reliability.

We offer a range of DDoS protection services including EvoShield Remote DDoS Protection.

All of our VPS and VDS hosting plans include EvoShield DDoS Protection.

7. Do you backup my data?

Several data integrity protocols have been utilized to ensure your applications remain operational. RAID 10 arrays are standard at Evolution Host along with an additional remote backup solution for protection against natural disasters or other physical damage.

8. What payment methods are accepted?

The available payment options include PayPal, credit/debit cards and various cryptocurrencies.

9. How does billing work?

Invoices are sent a few days in advance of your subscription's renewal date, once per billing cycle. To ensure the continued availability of your services, this invoice should be paid in advance of the invoice due date.

Your Evolution Host account can be topped up at any time. This balance can then be used to fund any services in part or in full at any time in the future, or to automatically renew your services. A PayPal subscription can also be created at any time to automate the renewal process.

10. Do price changes affect my subscriptions?

You will benefit from any new features and improvements to our products, free of charge. The renewal cost per billing cycle of your active subscriptions will not be increased at any time unless strictly necessary for the continuation of the service as a result of external factors.

11. What is your refund policy?

If for some reason you are dissatisfied with your service, please contact customer support. We will do as much as possible to resolve the problem and in the event that you are still dissatisfied, you may request a cancellation. Your account will be credited up to the remaining value of the subscription.

For example, if you subscribe for a month and cancel after three days, your account will be credited for the remaining 27 days.

Monetary refunds (to the original payment method) are only offered in exceptional circumstances.

12. Is there any fair usage policy?

The Evolution Host fair usage policy is in place to protect our clients from misuse and abuse. We do not restrict the use of our services in any way which would negatively affect usability. Fair usage only applies when unrestricted use of the service would negatively impact the performance of our infrastructure.

13. Are any VPS ports blocked?

All ports are open by default in all locations except Miami, USA where port 25 is blocked by the upstream provider at the network level.

Please note that a rate limit is applied to all outbound SMTP related traffic to prevent email related abuse of the service such as outbound email spam. All services are actively monitored for indications of abuse of the service, including email blacklist detections. The service will be suspended in the event of a detection of abusive activity or if any abuse reports are received.

Our VPS hosting services can be used for any purpose which is not malicious, illegal or abusive, and which does not otherwise violate the Terms of Service agreement.

14. How is CPU time allocated to VPS?

All VPS are allocated a fixed percentage of the available CPU time. This time is then exclusively available for use by your VPS, thereby ensuring that the performance of your VPS remains consistent at all times.

15. Can I get additional IPv4 addresses?

You can order your VPS with up to 64 IPv4 addresses with your VPS. Additional IPv4 addresses can be added at any time via the control panel, the process is fully automated and your address is assigned instantly.
