Looking at the results of the benchmark
These tests were carried out during normal server operations, i.e. the disks were in use at the time of benchmarking. While typically you would benchmark performance on an empty server,
we feel it would be more transparent to showcase results of how a VPS performs under normal circumstances in order to show a realistic representation of server disk performance.
As can be seen above, the standard SSD VPS performed significantly better than the HDD VPS. However the NVMe SSD VPS blew it's competition away with blistering speeds of up to 2,010MB/s for buffered disk reads. These test results should leave no question in anyone's mind that an NVMe SSD VPS is the way to go.
